Silver Lake's Junior League is celebrating our 24th year in teachin gthe world's greatest game to children aged 8-13. The league runs Friday mornings during the summer. Here, children learn the fundamentals, attributes, rules and etiquette of the game. Each week features a short lesson covering a different aspect of the game. This is immediately followed by a 9-hole round of golf on our award winning executive course, Rolling Hills, where the juniors can put their new skills to work immediately. These lessons offer a more personalized experience than our league play. Our golf pro, Gregg Tengerstrom was recently awarded the highest honor given by the Illinois PGA. Mr. Tengerstrom was awarded The Junior Golf Leader Award. Only one of the hundreds of professionals in Illinois are given this award each year.
